Can anyone suggest a good hotel to stay at in Bangkok?

Me and my husband are going to Thailand next weekend and will be in Bangkok for 2 days and need a good hotel to stay at. I've been on Agoda and there are so many hotels! I don't know which is the best area, i've been before 5 years ago but i was backpacking then and Khaosan Road was great but now i'm married and pregnant maybe need a bit more luxery? Thanks
