How to set up a hypothesis test?

Hey. I have a project due in my statistics cl. I'm having trouble figuring out which test statistic that I'm supposed to use. Here's my data, Mean=35, n=8, s=19.95710. I don't know how to get the sample mean. If anyone could help that would be great... Oh. and should I use the the t-distribution because n<30?
