Iphone3gs 32gb for CAD $850. Is it worth it?

I am living in Canada and I was thinking to buy an iPhone without a contract. I got a deal from an ebay seller for an unlocked Iphone 3gs 32gb for CAD $850. Is it really worth it or is there any other place that I can get the phone more cheaper
