Fellow Americans: do we stress A LOT on 'sparks', total compatibility, making sure he/shes 'the one' (cont)...?

I totally agree. I think people are too fast to jump into marriage and then they expect it to be easy and exciting forever. Marriage is a commitment that takes patience, love, respect, and work. It gets boring so they give up and jump into the next bed. Well the next bed will get boring too.
