Would you meet someone on a date if you never saw them before?

Well I decided to give internet dating a go but now i'm after meeting a guy who I really like. I'm actually happy and its been a while since i had that goofy smile on my face everytime the phone beeps. We text everyday. He's four years older than me and he seems kind, caring and considerate i.e. texting me to drive home safe as the roads were bad that kind of thing. Problem is I kept my photo private and so did he and last week after picking up the courage I told him I unlocked my pic for him to see.I asked him if I could see his picture but he keeps puttign it off. He says he doesnt photo well. I do see where he is coming from my ex was good looking but from his pic you wouldnt think it. I am not a girl who says looks are everything but I personally would have to be attracted to someone physically as well as personality. He seems like a very shy guy compared to some guys as if i flirt too much he always backs off by changing the subject which is sweet. When i probed him about the pic he goes i'm not ugly i just dont photo well. What would you do if you were me? I dont wanna humiliate him in public if I'm not attracted to him.
