Please explain the concept "audio cable"?

You likely should have got a cable that is two mini coaxial cables bonded in the middle, or one cable with two insulated conductors and a shield. In either case, the shield is ground and the insulated conductor is the signal. You usually wire white to left (tip), red to right (ring), and shield(s) to ground (sleeve).
