The Gypsies, what next on them, another Holocaust?

I don't know, it's pretty sad, I can't understand how can democratic countries ask to people if they want to deport Roma out of their country or not. Gypsies are hated everywhere, they're considered a dirty people and nothing more than thieves by almost every European.
